The NSBE-AEDC Banquet Committee is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Annual NSBE-AEDC Scholarship Banquet, held each spring. In corporation with other committees the Banquet Committee coordinates ticket sales, invitations, promotion, and financing of the banquet. The Annual NSBE-AEDC Scholarship Banquet is hosted to recognize the recipients of the NSBE-AEDC Scholarship Award, as well as members who have made significant contributions to NSBE-AEDC through the course of the year.
College Initiative Committee (

The College Initiative Committee is responsible for forging and retaining a working relationship between NSBE-AEDC and local Washington, DC Area NSBE Student Chapters. The College Initiative Committee coordinates and sponsors various activities geared towards academic development among college students. The College Initiative Committee interfaces with local NSBE Student Chapters to promote continued corporation in NSBE through NBSE-AE. Likewise the College Initiative Committee coordinates with local NSBE Student Chapters to sponsor joint programs and events centered on academic excellence as well as cultural and technical awareness. In corporation with the PCI Committee the College Relations Committee sponsor activities and programs geared towards preparing and introducing Pre-College students to various aspects of college life.

The NSBE-AEDC Finance Committee is responsible for the development of the chapter's financial strategy and ensuring chapter financial vitality through the fiscal year. The Finance Committee coordinates all chapter fund-raisers and provides assistance and oversight of committee fund-raisers. This committee is responsible for soliciting donations and corporate sponsorship for chapter events and programs.
Membership Committee (

The Membership Committee works to promote chapter membership as well as ensure member retention. The Membership Committee sponsors various activities geared towards recruiting new members and developing unity and comradeship among current members. Coordinating with other professional organizations the membership committee works to generate chapter exposure at events such as Career Fairs, Symposiums and Technical Conferences. In corporation with the College Relations Committee the membership committee reaches out to local NSBE Student Chapters with the objective of promoting continued participation in NSBE through NSBE-AE.

The NSBE-AEDC Pre-College Initiative (PCI) Committee sponsors various student-oriented activities/programs geared toward the promotion of academic excellence, leadership, as well as technical and cultural awareness. These activities/programs contribute to NSBE-AEDC's efforts to prepare African-American pre-college students for the challenges they will experience in their college and ultimately professional careers. Through the PCI Committee NSBE-AEDC provides students with opportunities to network and interact with technical professionals as well as challenge them to strive to their full potential
Professional Development Committee (

The purpose of this committee is to coordinate the professional and career development among chapter members. The Professional Development Committee coordinates guest speakers, from various professions, to discuss topics related to technology, entrepreneurship, professional development, as well as personal business management. Likewise the committee sponsors various workshop and seminars with the objective of providing career and professional development strategies that will enhance member professional and career awareness.

The Publications Committee is responsible for the coordination, publication, and distribution of the NSBE-AEDC Chapter Newsletter. The Publications Committee interfaces with other committees and members with the mission of providing the general body with news and in-depth insight into chapter activities and programs as well as highlighting the accomplishments and achievements of the chapter as well as individual members.
Telecommunications Committee (

The Telecommunications Committee is responsible for development, maintenance and implementing updates to the NSBE-AEDC Internet site, as well as management of the NSBE-AEDC e-mail listserver. The Telecommunications Committee serves as NSBE-AEDC link to the world-wide-web by ensuring all information pertaining to chapter programs and activities is made assessable to the viewing public, thus providing NSBE-AEDC with greater exposure, locally, nationally, and internationally. The committee conducts continuous research to provide members with access to various on-line resources related to personal management as well as career and personal development. The Telecommunications Committee also supports and sponsors various initiatives geared towards promoting Technical Awareness among pre-college students and bridging the technical divide.
