NSBE-AEDC provides members with the opportunities, programs and services needed to be successful in today’s ever-changing economic environment. As a NSBE-AEDC member you take advantage of numerous career, networking opportunities, and service opportunities including the following.
Networking Events: monthly social, professional, and programmatic events, including panel discussions, workshops, receptions, happy hours, and more. NSBE provides opportunities for every member no matter your career level. Our programs reflect the diverse personal and professional interests and needs of our members.
The NSBE List: a daily listserv, available only to members, that announces job openings, upcoming events, career resources, and development opportunities.

Executive Mentoring Program: A mentor-protégé program which encourages dynamic personal and career growth for minorities in technology through a series of guided quality discussions and opportunities to learn with a community of like-minded technical professionals.
Collegiate Mentoring Program: An outreach program and opportunity for you to give back. We provide mentoring, speakers and other types of support for area collegiate NSBE chapters.
Professional Development: informative and interactive short courses, technical workshops, and study groups to help you gain and maintain certifications or prepare for applying to advanced degree programs.
NSBE Engage - Make the Most of Your Membership: an orientation and meet-up activities for members with a focus on prospective and new members.
Impact: newsletter to keep members up-to-date on NSBE-AEDC events and information.
Build your resume: Serve in a leadership position within NSBE-AEDC. Hone your skills in your specialty or expand your expertise by running for NSBE AEDC’s Executive Board, volunteering to serve as a Committee Chair or a member our active committee, or guiding a Special Interest Group.
