Shelton Liddell is a member of the Engineering Leadership Development Program for Lockheed Martin, developing his skills in software engineering and systems engineering while taking on several assignments throughout the IS&GS-Civil business unit.  Currently, Shelton works as a software engineer on the NARA ERA project in Greenbelt, MD., providing design, development, testing, and maintenance to the system’s supporting services.

Shelton is also active with numerous K-12 outreach programs that encourage careers in the fields of STEM, such as Lockheed Martin’s Project Lead The Way (PLTW) and The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Shelton has held numerous NSBE leadership positions on the DC Alumni Chapter Executive Board, including College Initiative Committee Chair and current Chapter Vice-President.  Shelton is also an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated, where he has served as Recording Secretary and Asst. Advisor of Sigma Beta Clubs for the Jackson, MS Alumni Chapter.

Shelton completed his undergraduate studies in May 2007 at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS, obtaining a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science.  He followed that with a Masters of Science in May 2009 at Jackson State University in Jackson, MS.
