The National Society of Black Engineers Alumni Extension Washington DC Chapter (NSBE-AEDC), founded in 1990, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit educational and service organization.

 

Our membership encompasses working professionals and graduate students from engineering, technology, and applied science disciplines as well as affiliate professional members, all working to advance NSBE's mission through networking, professional development, and community programs. 

NSBE empowers its members:

 

  • To succeed in a competitive society
  • To affect a positive change on the quality of life for all people
  • To be recognized for their impacting contributions and accomplishments as problem solvers and leaders
